On Apokoronou Street, we started in 1976 with the sale of new and used cars of various brands. In 1981 the company Charontakis SA was created, and in the following years began representation of brands such as FORD, MAZDA, NISSAN, but also the very favorite at that time, the PONY. In the same decade, in 1986, our collaboration with Suzuki began and continues to this day.

In the 1990s the market changes, it grows with us. As Suzuki increases its recognition to the public, having already been loved for its reliability, our company is constantly on the rise and dominates share in corporate sales. In 1992 we pioneered leaving the city center and moved to Parigoria, to be able to better serve our customers, with the purchase of their new or used car. At the same time, we expand the range of our services provided with sales of spare parts, accessories and insurance and financial products.

The continuous and steady increase of the Suzuki car park in Chania, makes it clear to us that there is a need for better technical service to our customers. The next step at the end of the decade, in 1997, is our transfer to our modern privately owned facilities on Soudas Avenue where we remain to this day. We are launching our new vertical unit, which now also provides technical service, regular maintenance, repairs and warranty service. At the same time, we are transforming the existing exhibition in Parigoria Chania into a model center for the sale of used cars, and this way founding Charontakis Cars.

The next decade, the economic boom that followed found us ready to grow further. We introduce rental services, create privileged financing programs, and constantly invested in training, know-how and equipment for the technical service department.

In 2004 we start Charontakis Executive Cars, another exhibition of innovative aesthetics, with the exclusive object of marketing luxury cars of high value and uniqueness. There we gave our customers the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of slightly used luxury cars as well as new ones between the brands PORSCHE, HUMMER, CADILLAC, CORVETTE.

2007 was a milestone year for our business as we completed 30 years of successful presence. To reward our customers for their continued support and trust we celebrated with a great event with unique gifts.

In 2008 our country was faced with a violent economic recession. We reacted according to the shrinking market and secured the bases we had built until then, both in terms of workforce, in terms of equipment, but mainly in the continuation of the services provided to our customers.

For the next decade, our company continues to be high in the preferences of the world both in terms of sales and after sales services. With a highlight, for four consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) to be in the first place of new car sales for the prefecture of Chania.

Today, we continue our efforts for continuous improvement and development. We are active in the marketing of carefully selected used cars, emphasizing their quality and proper maintenance. We are one of the oldest members of the Official Suzuki Network, representing the brand as an Authorized Dealer and Repairer for the prefecture of Chania. We are strengthening our position in corporate sales, supporting local partners who invest in the strongest domestic product, tourism. We maintain excellent technical service and continue to invest in training and equipment. We are still in the first places in sales in our prefecture, confirming that our way of business remains simple but correct:
